H.S. Crocker has spent several years working toward the development of a non-foil lid. Over the past years, different versions were tested and most would fail in one area or another. There was always on slight modification that would be needed to find the right recipe that our customers would find acceptable.

We have non-foil lidding. Yes and we are working everyday to expand the capabilities of our new lidding structure so that it has various family members each of which will serve the market place with its special requirements.

  • All of H.S. Crocker non-foils can be recycled.

  • Less weight compared to foil - this represents less transportation costs - thereby reducing pollution.

  • CrockerCote® renewable material content is 71%.

  • CrockerShield Plus® and plastic, recycle symbol is #1.

  • For single serve items - CrockerCote® and CrockerShield Plus® can aid in removal of plastic overcaps.

The trend to non-foil lidding to take advantage of metal detection systems is why we have developed special non-foil lids.

Our current CrockerCote®, CrockerShield Plus® and 800 MRP-47M offer added capabilities to our customers. Our goal is to never stop but instead continue forward seeking better non-foil products to compliment our customer needs. We are anxious to show you how our non-foil lidding will work for you.
